Romanshorn meets the world!

The sea-folk-song-festival 2007 in Romanshorn will be a popular maritime music festival unique in its kind in Switzerland (seasongs, shanties, folk), as it features groups and singers from all over the world, from Norway to New Zealand, from Canada to Poland. North meets South, West meets East. Rough sailors’voices blend with sweet sirens’ voices. In addition to the internationally most famous groups and singers nearly all of Switzerland’s fairly new shanty-choirs will be attending.

Das sea-folk-song-festival 2007 in Romanshorn wird zu einem für Schweizer Verhältnisse einzigartigen Volksfest der maritimen Musik (Seasongs, Shanties, Folk). Dafür sorgen Gruppen  und Interpreten aus allen Ecken der Welt - von Norwegen bis Neuseeland, von Kanada bis Polen. Nord trifft Süd. West trifft Ost. Raubeinige Seemanns-Stimmen treffen auf temperamentvolle Stimmen von jungen französischen "Piratinnen".

Nebst den  international bekanntesten Gruppen und Interpreten wird auch fast die ganze, noch junge Schweizer Shanty-Szene präsent sein.
